Call for Action! Regional Registration of CSOs in West Africa

WACSI is compiling a list of existing functional civil society organisations (CSOs) in West Africa for its Regional CSOs Directory for West Africa. This will enable CSOs across the 15 member countries of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) including Cameroon and Tchad to have information about their organisations hosted on an online directory.

CSOs in these countries are called upon to submit information on their organisations including their specific area of intervention through this online forum.

To register an organisation, organisations are requested to:
- Download the registration form;
- Fill in the information; and
- Send as a word or pdf attachment via email to capacitybuilding@wacsi.org

The Executive Director of WACSI, Nana Asantewa Afadzinu explains that this registration process aims to have a contemporary and comprehensive information on all CSOs across the sub-region that represents the current quantitative value of CSOs in the sub-region. This will raise awareness on the work of CSOs, facilitate cooperation and collaboration and promote networking amongst CSOs in West Africa and its stakeholders across the globe.
