Participant at a WACSI training in Liberia
Application Deadline: Friday August 3, 2012
WACSI has scheduled a course from August 15 – 17, 2012 to strengthen the financial management systems of civil society organisations (CSOs) in West Africa. The Financial Management and Budgetary Control course is an IFC (International Finance Corporation) module that targets staff of CSOs who contribute in the financial operations of their organisations.
Organisations that take part in this three day training at the WACSI training Centre in Accra will be able to put in place effective financial and budgetary control systems within their organisations.
WACSI is utilizing this IFC module to enable CSOs to have efficient accounting and financial management skills that will elevate their credibility. The training will be delivered by a certified IFC trainer, Mr. Gilbert Atta-Boakye, who has facilitated several WACSI courses across West Africa. He has a deep understanding of financial management challenges faced by CSOs and would share his expertise and experiences with participants at this training to deepen their understanding of practical and theoretical concepts of financial management within CSOs.
Organisations that intend to sponsor two or more of their staff to take part in this certified course will benefit from special scholarship offers.
Applications will be received until Wednesday July 25, 2012. Early applications are highly encouraged.
