Research and Documentation
The Research and documentation Unit is actively working with CSO actors to provide relevant, credible and up to date information on advocacy initiatives. This initiative is helping civil society actors in West Africa to address pressing issues by identifying topics of common interest to fill identified knowledge gaps within civil society.
The Unit’s resource centre which serves as a library of civil society documents, research reports and other relevant publications that are accessible to both individuals and organisations, is also working with some universities and other research institutions to share expertise as well as publications with CSO actors in West Africa. Some services offered by the Research and Documentation unit include knowledge production on the state of civil society in the sub-region, dissemination of research outcomes, technical assistance in research methods, writing and editing for civil society organisations.
