The Nature and Development Foundation(NDF) has completed a digital security training program for Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) in Sefwi Wiawso.
The three-day training, supported by the West Africa Civil Society Institute (WACSI) and the Mott Foundation, aimed to equip CBOs with essential skills to protect their digital assets.
Facilitated by Obed Yaoseh and Yvonne Yemoh, the training covered cybersecurity, data protection, phishing awareness, and secure communication practices. These sessions were designed to equip participants with practical knowledge and techniques to identify and respond to potential digital threats.

In today’s digital age, understanding how to secure our data is crucial. This training will significantly enhance our ability to navigate the digital landscape safely,” she said.
In addition to the training sessions, the initiative included focus group discussions where participants shared insights and best practices in digital security. Also to ensure ongoing support, a WhatsApp platform has been established for continuous information exchange among the participating organizations.
