The West Africa Civil Society Institute, WACSI, on Thursday, launched its office in Nigeria to strengthen the civic space and encourage local donors.
Speaking at a press conference in Abuja, WACSI Executive Director, Nana Afadzinu, said the move was a significant milestone for the Institute.
She said WACSI was conceptualised by OSIWA, in consultation with civil society in West Africa and set it up in 2005 with its base in Accra, Ghana.
