West Africa Civil Society Institute satisfied with the activities of the Gambibgo Ghana Project
Head of Capacity Development at the West Africa Civil Society Institute (WACSI), Charles Kojo Vandyck, has expressed satisfaction with the activities of the Gambibgo Ghana Project, as reported by Apexnewsgh.com.
The organisation, led by Gambibgo Chief Sadik Ayine Inusah, initiated a tree planting project in 2004 in their community, Gambibgo, situated in the Bolgatanga East District of the Upper East Region.
Being a well-known non-governmental community-based organisation specialising in irrigation, afforestation, and empowerment of both men and women who aspire to self-sufficiency, the Ghana project expanded its tree planting efforts to the Kandiga community in Kesena Nankana East 11 years ago.
Presently, the Gambibgo Ghana Project has established its 11th plantation center and introduced a new module focusing on electric fencing.
